Senior Managing Director & Senior Portfolio Manager

Thomas Stephens is the Senior Managing Director of Corbets Capital and a Senior Portfolio Manager. Thomas started with Balyasny Asset Management in January 2019 as a Financials Portfolio Manager and has over 34 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined BAM from Millennium where he was a Financials Portfolio Manager. Prior to his career with MLP, Thomas was a Portfolio Manager with Citadel for over seven years and a Senior Analyst at SAC Capital. He started his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where he spent almost 10 years as a bank examiner. Thomas holds a BS in Finance from Manhattan College and an MBA in Finance for the Columbia School of Business.
